My blacksmith workshop

After apprenticeship to an esteemed blacksmith master, for my family and friends. That was when I realized: I need my own workshop!

Setting up a blacksmith workshop was much more difficult than I imagined. First I fixed up the backyard shed but then I needed blacksmith tools and a furnace. I was sure I would get the tools on big old farms since almost every farm used to have a small blacksmith workshop. It was a necessity because farmers had to make their own farming tools and tools for all sorts of chores and repairs. However, I was wrong. Most of the blacksmith tools were thrown away. On the other hand, those that were kept are now cherished memorabilia. I was lucky enough to get a small mobile furnace and a few pairs of tongs but I had no knowledge of how to use them. I was euphoric to have my own equipped workshop.
