My inspiration
Gothic is an art style dating between the 12th and the 16th century. One of the typical Gothic architectural elements is a pointed arch which I tried to imitate when making the glass table and bench ‘Gothic’.
With the glass table I closed the vertical surface with the typical Gothic arch, like setting a window of a centuries old cathedral onto the floor. I left the other surfaces opened, letting them breathe freely. This is the reason for my using glass.
