Lamp switch
After constructing my first lamp, I toyed with an idea of it not having a switch at all, and for a long time I was entirely satisfied with my choice. I was sure I made the right decision.

But when I finished the second lamp, I ventured on a hunt for a new kind of switch, a switch that would satisfy my taste on the one hand, and also improve the look of the lamp on the other. I looked for it in different stores, searched for it on the Internet. But in the end I was very disappointed when I realized that I took on the task too lightly. I imagined wooden or iron switches but nothing attracted my attention, there was nothing that I liked. I gave up quickly and used another dull plastic switch that we see everywhere. The story repeated itself with the third lamp. However, this time a friend of mine convinced me not to give up. I made a few improvements on the lamp, used the expensive cherry wood, but all my hard work was ruined by the switch. This time I decided to change my plan. I bought a switch that I liked and made iron casing for it.

It cost me a fair amount of time and energy but, in the end, it was worth it. I was pleased with the result. Since then all my lamps are equipped with that type of switch.
